Why a contest?

MinistrySource.com exists to help churches work together in ministry. For that to happen, people serving at all levels of ministry need to share what God is doing where they are and be willing to help others. We just want to reward those who are the biggest help to getting this effort off the ground.

The Details:

This contest is based on points that you accumulate through various means.

• Registering at the MinistrySource.com forums gets you 10 points.

• Each post gets you 5 points. *

• Each referral gets you 25 points. **

• Each article you write on behalf of Ministrysource.com (MS would have the copyright) that is at least 500 words in length will earn you 50 points. You cannot write more than 5 articles to count towards your points tally. Submit articles to contest@ministrysource.com with your username listed clearly at the top of the article. ***

The exciting part is that this will be a race to 1,000 points (your points must meet the criteria found below) and the first three people to reach that goal will win big!


Requirements & Stipulations (The Fine Print):

There are a few minimum requirements that must be met as well which you can read about below. All participants are required to keep track of their own points tally, and upon reaching the 1,000 points a participant would need to PM (Private Message) mike_b or moonweb, the forum's administrators. The administrator will carefully go over the points explanation to verify the winner of the contest.

* These posts must not be worthless posts consisting of one or two words. Post such as "Good job" or "Funny Stuff" will not be valid and will not count as a point.

** For a referral to count, the referred party must do the following:

• Make at least 10 posts spread out over a period of at least 3 days, NOT all 10 in a single day. These posts cannot be meaningless posts as described above.

• Must not be traced back to a proxy IP address.

• May not be a duplicate account.

*** The articles must be 100% original content. This will be triple checked by our staff and copying someone else's work will automatically disqualify you from the contest. The article must not be outdated, must be relevant to the theme of this forum, and must contain good quality information that will offer valuable help to the readers.

Anyone found to be cheating, creating fake / multiple accounts, or trying to twist results in any way will be automatically disqualified from the contest and permanently banned from the forum.
